Welcome to EVE's School Library
The mission of our school library is to foster a life-long love of reading and provide resources and learning opportunities to support students as they grow into independent, critical thinkers.
About EVE's Library Media Center
The Library Media Center at Ebb Valley Elementary School has many print and digital resources for students and families to utilize. Our collection contains books, e-books, magazines, kits, books on CD, and reference materials and online databases.
Kindergarten visits the media center for two 30 minute classes each week. All other students have media for 30 minutes each week. In addition to borrowing books, students are engaged in lessons from the media curriculum. Instruction is designed to teach literature appreciation and information, technology, and research skills. Library media skills instruction is integrated with classroom learning whenever possible.
 Access our Destiny Online Catalog from home! Students and staff may search for library materials and login to see if you have any overdue books. Click the image and then choose Ebb Valley from the list of schools. The Home tab has links to our subscription databases and online resources. The Catalog tab allows you to search our collection by Subject, Title, Author or Keyword. |
Events and Programs
We participate in the Carroll County Public Library Battle of the Books. More information is available from CCPL's Battle of the Books website. Check out the books featured in the battle this year. Please come out to cheer on our participating 4th and 5th grade students!

We have several subscription databases and resources available to students from home to help with homework, research, or learning. Passwords are available for current students and families in the media center.
